President and co-founder of OnePatient Global Health Initiative, Dr. Karla Ivankovich is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, who has earned advanced Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois system in both Human Development Counseling and INO-Disability Studies. While there she completed post-graduate degree course work in Educational Leadership, and Doctoral Superintendency. At Northcentral University Dr. Karla went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology with special emphasis on the Biopsychosocial Aspects of Health. Dr. Karla serves as an adjunct faculty member in both the graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling program for North Park University and for the undergraduate Psychology program at the University of Illinois at Springfield. As co-founder and President, Dr. Karla wears multiple hats. Within OnePatient Global Health Initiative she provides oversight in the areas of organizational development, overall strategic planning, and fiscal management. Within the Behavioral Health Division, she is responsible for mental health services, internship supervision, program operations, outreach programming, and clinical compliance.
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Co-founder and Medical Director at OnePatient Global Health Initiative, Dr. Daniel Ivankovich is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine’s Honors program. A fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon and spine specialist Dr. Ivankovich attended top post-grad fellowship programs at RUSH (Adult Joint Reconstruction), Northwestern (Adult Spine Trauma) and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (Spinal Cord Injury). In his role Dr. Ivankovich serves to provide oversight for the Medical Services division of OnePatient Global Health Initiative. As a clinical faculty member and mentor, he has trained hundreds of medical students. Most notably, Dr. Ivankovich has seen over 100,000 patients in his specialty areas of orthopedic trauma, total joint replacement, and spine surgery. He has performed over 5,000 surgeries in some of the most disparate areas within the country. He is responsible for student education, clinical compliance, musculoskeletal health and wellness, as well as healthcare policy advocacy, and implementation.
